Over the past 6 years, Resource Generation has built partnerships with The Movement for Black Lives and the Center for Popular Democracy—through uprisings and compounded crises we’ve worked to keep our relationship steady. This year, RGers have pledged to move 2.9M (253k in C4 Money) to Movement for Black Lives and just over 1M to CPD (122k in C4 money)—these commitments represent a meaningful commitment to these organizations and now is the time to follow through!
Today, I want to share with you why we ask you to pledge 10% of your overall giving to our partners , and ask you to sign the Redistribution Pledge [[link removed]] if you haven’t yet, make a commitment to our partners and renew your dues to RG!
We also believe we must be in relationship with, and follow the leadership of, organizations led by communities most directly impacted by the systems we are trying to change. Since 2015, we’ve partnered with the Movement for Black Lives and the Center for Popular Democracy because…

Showing up with money is an important way we build trust and relationships with poor and working class led organizations , and one of the niches RG has to offer. Redistributing money is not the only way we do this (we can also be giving our time, skills, leveraging our networks, etc), but it is a crucial one!
SO! Our ask for you today? Take part in collective action and redistribution of power by signing the Redistribution Pledge [[link removed]] ( and signing the Electoral Giving Pledge if you’re giving C4! [[link removed]] ), sending 10% of your overall giving to our powerful national campaign partners [[link removed]] , and renewing your dues with RG [[link removed]] !
