Post-Election Day, let’s come together as a chapter to celebrate our victories, take stock of the political power landscape in LA, and talk about our plans and visions for building socialism in both electoral and non-electoral ways. If you’re new to DSA, or not a member yet, this meeting will be a great way to meet folks and find out what we’re all about.
This meeting will be outdoors and lunch will be served. Please RVSP!

United to House LA:
- UNITED TO LAUGH: In Support of Measure ULA: Thursday, November 3 @ 8:30 pm - 11:00 pm
- Measure ULA tackles LA’s housing issue in two ways: building more affordable housing, while ensuring folks have resources to stay in their homes. The United to House Los Angeles coalition has put forward a measure that would impose a one-time tax on properties sold at over $5 million dollars, immediately raising funds to construct affordable housing.
- We here at DSA-LA believe that a tax that is a drop in the bucket for the millionaires who can afford mega-mansions in this city that generates nearly a billion dollars to build affordable housing is a clear good.

Rocío Rivas for LAUSD School Board
- Canvass and Comedy Show for Rocío Rivas: Saturday, November 5 @ 2:00 pm - 5:00 pm
- The race for LAUSD Board District 2 is Los Angeles’ most expensive district election of 2022, and our endorsed candidate Rocío Rivas is fighting to ensure working class Angelenos have the public schools our communities deserve. This is a highly contested race that will determine the future of public education in Los Angeles and we need all hands on deck to elect Rocío. So join us for a big day of GOTV for Rocío on Saturday, November 5th!
- ✨First, we will have a joint GOTV canvass with the DSA-LA for Hugo Soto-Martinez Working Group from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Bellevue Recreation Center: 826 Lucile Ave, 90026. Make sure to bring a fully charged phone, your water bottle, sunscreen, tote bag/backpack, and comfortable shoes
- ✨Then, join us for a Comedy Show with Rocío a few blocks down the street at 5:30 PM at the Silverlake Lounge: 2906 Sunset Blvd, 90026. Doors open at 5:30 PM and the show kicks off at 6:30 PM with our hosts Amber Rollo and Kat Toledo.

Come join DSA-LA as we watch the results of the 2022 General Election roll-in! The event is open to the public, so please invite your friends and neighbors.
The event will be hosted in the outdoors courtyard, but we ask that everybody is vaccinated and bring their vaccine cards! Food and drinks will be available! All ages are welcome. Please enter the parking lot from Effie Street.
