It’s not just the summer weather heating up, but the campaign trail too – and even as many Canadian families are trying to catch some time around the BBQ, or a camp fire, or on a summer road trip through parts of this beautiful country, we’re also gearing up for one of the most important elections of our lifetime.

Your support is helping us build competitive campaigns that will ensure Justin Trudeau and our Liberal team can continue building a better future for all Canadians. But there’s still much more hard work ahead of us, so I’m calling on you to help us reach our ambitious $300,000 online goal for the end of July.

It’s remarkable to think of some of the progress that you’ve made possible in these past few years. The Canada Child Benefit is giving more money to 9 out of 10 families and has helped lift 300,000 children out of poverty – and this month, the Liberal government increased it a second time. We’ve also been making important investments in affordable housing, and to build better roads, transit, and bridges so can Canadians can get where we’re going faster and more safely. And we’re taking real action to fight climate change and protect a clean environment, including by putting a price on pollution, launching Canada’s first-ever Oceans Protections Plan, and working to ban harmful single-use plastics by 2021.

Election Day is just around the corner. We’re turning up the heat on the campaign trail with our crucial end-of-July goal, and we need your help. I’m hoping that this month you’ll support the team that begins, spends, and ends every day working to make life better for Canadians.
