One of my big goals this election is to help elect Democrats in my community of Western Iowa.

There is one candidate who really, really needs our help right now in the final days of the campaign.

Josh Turek is running for the Iowa State House just like I am, but his district is much tougher to win. And Josh is up against a far-right lobbyist who peddles Trump’s Big Lie. His opponent is also proposing a radical plan to defund our public schools.

We can’t let another seat in the Iowa Legislature go to someone hell-bent on defunding our schools.

Josh Turek is in this race for the right reasons. Simply put, he wants to help people in his community. He wants families to have access to good public schools and he wants to make sure everyone – I mean everyone, has access to the health care services they need.

I’m trying to raise $1,500 for Josh in the final days of the campaign. Will you split a contribution of $10 between our campaigns for the Iowa House?
