Hi John – One of the highest stakes midterms in the entire country is happening right in our backyard, as my friend Rev. Raphael Warnock is taking on the far-right Republican Herschel Walker in the race for Georgia Senate. Today, new polling showed that Rev. Warnock has a narrow three-point lead. It’s October 31st (Happy Halloween!) and that means that Sen. Warnock is facing an end-of-month fundraising deadline at midnight. Let’s help him keep his foot on the gas from now until next Tuesday to make sure that he wins re-election and maintains the Democratic majority in the Senate —will you rush a split donation between my campaign and Rev. Warnock’s?
It’s hard to believe that Election Day is only 8 days away. We’ve put in work for months to get here, but this next week is going to be the most important time of all. Rev. Warnock and I are working around the clock to get out the vote, and we’re relying on grassroots fundraising to fuel our efforts on the ground. Let’s remember what’s at stake on November 8th: Improving economic conditions, keeping guns off our streets, maintaining bodily autonomy for women across the country, and much more.
