Funding available for Wyoming sage grouse conservation

CHEYENNE ? Funding is available to support projects benefiting sage grouse and their habitats. The Wyoming Game and Fish Commission expects to allocate $548,000 to support eight Local Sage Grouse Working Groups to fund projects and address the primary threats to sage grouse as identified in their local conservation plans.?*Groups can submit project proposals online [ [link removed]-(3) ]*

CWD detected in new Wyoming elk hunt areas

CODY ?? The Wyoming Game and Fish Department has confirmed the presence of chronic wasting disease in Elk Hunt Areas 47 and 49. The disease was detected in two hunter-harvest bull elk Oct. 12 and Oct. 15.?*To ensure hunters are informed Game and Fish announces when CWD is found in a new hunt area. [ [link removed] ]*
