It’s Halloween of a midterm election year, which means your inbox is probably a pretty scary place right now.

But there’s a reason campaigns are dialing up the urgency: We have one week left until Election Day and we need to make every day count.

If you’re reading this email, you know there is no scarier feeling than wishing you had done more on November 9th, so we won’t lay it on too thick. We’ll just let you know that we’re 457 volunteer sign-ups away from hitting our end-of-month goal. 

That goal isn’t something we just made up: It’s the number that means we’re on track to see the same kind of volunteer engagement we saw in 2018. And our 2018 Vote Save America volunteers were what helped make the difference in a lot of really close races. 

If you’re ready to be one of those volunteers in 2022, we’re making it as easy as possible for you:

You can find an in-person event near you. This weekend especially, there will be lots of opportunities to knock on doors in your community to help voters take advantage of the final days of early voting (if that's available where you live) or make their plan to vote on November 8:

It’s also not too late to join our VSA Virtual Volunteer Community. Don’t let the stakes of this election scare you off from volunteering (our last Halloween joke, we promise) – join our Community Slack during the Final Four days between Sat, Nov 5th - Tue, Nov 8th, where we will sign up together for events and virtually hang out, chat about our events, share inspiring stories, and keep ourselves sustained while we make calls and send texts
