Tom has been busy in the district visiting local businesses and schools! See where he's been and who he's had the opportunity to meet with.
Hunterdon County
- Tom met with members of the Hunterdon County Chamber of Commerce to hear more about the issues currently facing business owners, and what Congress can do to continue to help them grow.
- StarThrower Group in Flemington helps people with disabilities develop career skills and gain networking opportunities after graduating high school. Tom met with participants and was even lucky enough to be a guest on their sports podcast.
- Tom visited Readington Middle School where students asked him questions about civic engagement and human rights.
Morris County
Somerset County
- Zufall Health in Somerville honored Tom with the Distinguished Community Health Center Advocate for 2022 from the National Association of Community Health Centers. Tom also held a discussion with employees at Zufall.
- Duke Farms celebrated its 10th anniversary as a staple for horticulture and history in the county. Tom was honored to attend the celebration with the Somerset County community.
- Somerville Middle School hosted Tom for a discussion with students on the legislative process, recovering from the COVID-19 pandemic and more.
Union County
- Newmark Education has been providing an environment for children with disabilities to grow and learn. Tom toured Newmark’s school in Scotch Plains and met with students, faculty, and staff.
