Hey folks, I have a personal request: Will you chip in to support my re-election campaign before our final end-of-month deadline of this election expires at midnight? I’ll explain more in a moment.

Elections in our state are always decided by the slimmest of margins, and this one will be no different.

North Carolina could be the ‘tipping point’ in the midterms this year – that means elections in our state will be the deciding factor in which party controls the House and Senate majorities come November 9th. We know it, and Donald Trump and his Republican allies know it too.

That’s why Trump made several visits to our state to rally the far-right base this election cycle. And it’s why right-wing super PACs and megadonors have thrown tens of millions of dollars to flood our airwaves with attack ads in the final days of this election.

With so much on the line in this election — from restoring the right to choose for all Americans to protecting our work to fight climate change — we can’t afford to let Republicans squeak by in our state and reclaim the majorities in Congress.

Today marks exactly eight days to Election Day. That means we have just over a week left to break through the noise of right-wing attacks and reach voters to make sure they know what’s at stake in this critical election — but this work takes a lot of resources, which is why it’s critical that we hit tonight’s fundraising goal before the clock strikes midnight.

So, I’m personally asking you to pitch in $10 — or whatever makes sense for your budget — to help our team hit our final end-of-month target of this election. The only way we’re going to win this race and protect our Democratic majorities is with your help.
