Last week, in a major win for voters, the Pennsylvania Supreme Court issued a decision allowing counties to continue to implement cure procedures, rejecting a GOP lawsuit trying to prohibit the process. In short, cure procedures allow voters to fix technical errors on their mail-in ballots so their votes will count. This is a huge step, and will go a long way toward protecting voters’ voices in this year’s critical elections. But rest assured, Republicans will not stop here. They will work tirelessly to suppress votes from all directions because they know that when we all vote, they lose.
