Dear Friend,
I helped pass the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law to create jobs, reduce congestion and ensure that North Texas highways, bridges, airports and public transportation can support our region’s rapid population growth.
The Bipartisan Infrastructure Law makes the biggest investment in infrastructure in a century and has already delivered nearly $7 billion to Texas in the past year. Now, thanks to the law, the Dallas Independent School District is getting 25 brand new electric school buses!

Texas is one of the first states to receive these clean, pollution-free school buses. The new fleet will help accelerate the transition to zero emissions and produce cleaner air in our communities and around our children. I got a chance to join some Dallas high school students for a ride on an electric school bus earlier this year, and it brought me back to my days riding the bus to school as a kid. I know how important this service is for families and I’m glad that kids today will have a cleaner, pollution-free option to get to school.
I look forward to seeing these electric school buses on the road and I’m excited to see more of the Bipartisan Infrastructure Law’s benefits at work. It’s an honor to deliver for North Texas, where I was born and raised.
Sincerely,
Colin Allred Member of Congress
