Last weekend, my friend and colleague Patty Murray debated her right-wing opponent ahead of their crucial election this November.

One thing remains clear in this race: Patty is the ONLY candidate we can count on to defend the right to choose and the right to privacy in the U.S. Senate.

Patty and I both support eliminating the filibuster to codify Roe v. Wade. Meanwhile, Patty’s GOP opponent said during the debate that she supports the Supreme Court’s decision to overturn this crucial right to privacy.

Last month, Lindsey Graham introduced a Senate bill to ban abortion across the country after 15 weeks in every state in the Union.
