Team —
With only 8 days until Election Day, the Tacoma News Tribune just published a profile of my race. It laid out the stark differences between me and my opponent, and how I have strong roots in our community – a community that has given me so much, and to which I’m committed to giving back.
They highlighted how I’m committed to expanding access to education and financial aid, healthcare, and ensuring our state budget invests in the 26th, and how these are personal issues for me – my dad had to change careers after a knee injury and struggled to compete with college graduates, and my sister, who was born with complex disabilities, only got the care she needed because our she qualified for Washington’s expanded Medicaid.
That’s why I’m fighting for everyone in our community to have the tools they need to thrive, and to keep our communities safe, healthy, and free. If we do that, we’ll give the next generation the opportunities they deserve to follow their dreams.
The News Tribune is an important voice in our community, and I’m proud to earn their endorsement this year. Here’s a bit of what they said:
Randall — who earns The News Tribune Editorial Board’s strong endorsement — is the only viable option in this race, regardless of where you fall on the political spectrum.
…during her time in the legislature Randall has established herself as a champion for progressive efforts to expand and improve diversity, equity and inclusion across the state and policies that improve the lives of people living in rural communities like hers, including lowering Tacoma Narrows Bridge tolls and the cost of prescription drugs.
Thank you so much for your support. Let’s go win this!
