We are just hours from 2020. Midnight tonight is the end of 2019 and the start of a brand new year, a brand new decade. It’s also our last FEC reporting deadline for the year. That means we have 16 hours left to raise the remaining $1,764 we need to reach our final 2019 fundraising goal. Everything we’ve earned this quarter will be published for the public to see. It will let my opponents know that I am not backing away from this fight. I’m in it to win.
I can’t stress this enough: I decided to run because I was sick of seeing the needs of my district and working class people ignored. I am running a campaign for the people, by the people. I rely on donations from hardworking people like you. The incumbent for the past quarter-century, Carolyn Maloney, doesn’t have to send emails asking for donations to meet fundraising goals. Instead, she meets with the same corporations she’s represented in Congress for the last twenty-six years, and takes their contributions.
I know my district and I know we are made up of more than millionaires and corporations. A generous donor has volunteered to match all donations before midnight so we can start 2020 strong!
