Haley and I are prepping a fundraising update for the Governor and Lt. Governor this afternoon, and I’ll just be frank: With more than $30,000 left to raise before our last end-of-month deadline of the election, it’s going to be a tough conversation.
Even though Scott Jensen and Matt Birk’s priorities are drastically out of step with our values as Minnesotans, this is a very, very close race. A recent poll from The Trafalgar Group even showed Governor Walz trailing Jensen. Now, with just over one week to go to Election Day, we see this news:

The attack ads against us were already absolutely relentless. If we fall short of our last end-of-month budget target, it will give Jensen and Birk an even bigger advantage in the most critical moment of the entire election.
