It is indisputable that abortion bans have done tremendous harm to our communities and after the Dobbs decision overturned the constitutional right to abortion, we are left with even fewer protections in place. Make no mistake: this crisis is getting worse and PRH’s physician network remains on the frontlines fighting back. 

Earlier this month, Fellow Dr. Nisha Verma and I proudly represented PRH at the White House for a meeting of the Task Force on Reproductive Health Care Access. Watch as we share with President Biden and Vice President Harris the impact of the Dobbs decision on providing abortion care as a part of full spectrum reproductive health care.

Label Change for Mifepristone Could Reduce Barriers to Care for Miscarriages, Advocates Say in Petition to FDA

PRH joined over 40 medical and advocacy groups in submitting a petition to the Food and Drug Administration asking for a label change to mifepristone, a drug commonly used in medication abortions, to make it easier to obtain for people experiencing miscarriages.
