This isn’t a trick – our fundraising has taken a drastic dip over the last few days and now we’re terrified we won’t hit our crucial $500,000 before the witching hour.
If we don’t turn things around before midnight we’ll have to make some budget cuts – that means pulling ads, scaling back volunteer efforts, and talking to fewer voters – and that thought is bone-chilling.
We’ve come too far to come up short at midnight. In a race as close as ours, missing this goal by even a couple thousand dollars could be what costs us this race. It’s the difference between electing a leader who will listen to the will of the people OR a leader who is bought and paid for by corporate super PACs.
