As you can imagine, it’s been a hectic couple of days here at HQ. The race has been tightening, and it's clear this is going to come down to the wire.

I’m checking in because tomorrow is our final end-of-month fundraising deadline before Election Day. We set a goal of raising $150,000 in online donations to boost our outreach efforts in the final week. We’re closing in on our goal, but we’re still roughly $32,130.

The truth is, we knew this race was going to be competitive. Every election cycle, national Republicans parachute in with big bucks for TV attacks to smear Mike's character and record.

Meanwhile, we've stuck to running a locally-grown, grassroots campaign powered by thousands of individuals. We have people power, John, which is what you get when you deliver results and hold firm to your values the way Mike has.

We've won tough races here before, and we’re doing everything possible to do it again. But if we’re going to pull ahead, it’s critical for our grassroots team to help us keep our fundraising momentum going.
