JOHN, Happy Halloween! Leigh and I couldn’t resist dressing Miles up in costume a little early today…
I mean, come on – how cute is this kid?
It goes without saying that Miles is over the moon about going trick-or-treating later and for the first time in a while, we’ll be knocking on doors for candy – not votes. Speaking of which, in the spirit of Halloween, I need to ask you for something while you’re here.
Today’s a big day for my campaign: It’s the last day we have to reach our $120,000 end-of-month goal. Can you chip in to help us get there before midnight tonight?
Sure, Miles' costume isn’t scary. But, here’s something that’ll send a chill down your spine: two more years with Nicole Malliotakis’ radical agenda in Congress.
My opponent’s record really is as bad as it gets. On health care, assault weapons, reproductive rights, crime and public safety, the list goes on and on. I hear constantly from people at all corners of our district that they don’t feel as though their voice is heard with Nicole as their representative. And frankly, I can’t blame them.
Nicole’s too busy taking cues from GOP leaders in Congress that she’s forgotten she has constituents to serve. I’m running because I know how to get stuff done and I’m not afraid to work across the aisle to make it happen.
We can win this election, JOHN. We just need to give these last 8 days everything we’ve got – nothing left on the table!
I know we can make today a success. Will you chip in as much as you can to help me reach my end-of-month goal and give Staten Island and South Brooklyn a representative they can count on?
Thanks so much and have a safe Halloween.
