John,
I wanted to make sure you saw Jon’s email about three Social Security champions running in districts with no incumbent: Josh Riley, Francis Conole, and Wiley Nickel.
These races are critical because once someone is elected to a U.S. House district, it’s much easier for them to win again and again. The candidates who win these races are likely to stay in their seats for years, or even decades — with major ramifications for Social Security’s future.
Split a contribution of $5 today between the Riley, Conole, and Nickel campaigns so they can win these open House seats and fight for our earned benefits for years to come!
Thank you,
Alex Lawson

John,
Voters across the country are fired up and ready to vote to defend Social Security and Medicare and lower prescription drug prices.
I recently held packed endorsement events with three great candidates for U.S. House: Josh Riley, Francis Conole, and Wiley Nickel.
These candidates have a few things in common: They’re all running in U.S. House districts that, due to retirement and redistricting, don’t have an incumbent. They’re all running against Republicans who want to slash Social Security and Medicare. And they’re all running on a platform of protecting our earned benefits and lowering our drug prices!
Incumbency is a very powerful force in politics. The candidates who win these races this November are likely to stay in their House seats for years, or even decades, to come.
That’s why we need to make sure that Social Security champions Josh Riley (NY), Francis Conole (NY), and Wiley Nickel (NC) win! Click here to split a contribution of $5 between their campaigns today.
Josh Riley is running for Congress on a platform of protecting our earned benefits, pledging that “I’ll never cut a dime from Social Security or Medicare”.
His Republican opponent, Marc Molinaro, supports the TRUST Act — which would create a closed-door, fast-track commission to cut Social Security and Medicare.
Francis Conole will fight for working people by standing up to Big Pharma and expanding Social Security and Medicare.
Conole’s Republican opponent, Brandon Williams, is an investment banker and venture capitalist. Williams wants to keep drug prices high by repealing the Inflation Reduction Act. If elected to Congress, Williams will put his Wall Street friends over seniors and working families.
Wiley Nickel is running on a promise to expand Medicare to include dental, vision, and hearing benefits. As a North Carolina State Senator, he made seniors a priority, fighting for state pensions to include adequate cost-of-living adjustments for retirees.
Nickel’s opponent, Bo Hines, is backed by far-right Republicans like Donald Trump, Marjorie Taylor Greene, and Madison Cawthorne. If elected, Hines will be a rubber stamp for the Republican agenda to cut and privatize Social Security.
These three House districts have no incumbent. We need to make sure that Josh Riley, Francis Conole, and Wiley Nickel are elected this November — so they can stay in office, fighting for our earned benefits, for years to come!
