This Election is SO IMPORTANT for Our CLIMATE
Of eligible voters, the 18 - 34 age group will be the most affected by climate change! However a new NBC News poll includes the following observations:
"young voters may be more focused on the midterms than they were earlier this year, but they are losing ground to the overall electorate in relative terms."
"Cranking up their turnout by even a small amount could have a big impact in a tight race."
If you know a young voter, please ask them to vote!
Know someone who needs a ride to the polls?
Or, want to help provide a ride?
Souls to the Polls is helping with both! Check it out - it's FREE.
Free Rides to the Polls is a program that matches voters with drivers, offering free roundtrip rides to Milwaukee voters who would like to go vote or return their absentee ballots.

State Legislature Act on Climate!
Gov Evers Declare a Climate Emergency!
Tuesday November 1st, 2022, 12pm - 1:30pm
WI State Capitol

We're planning one last large climate rally to try and get on the news and urge voters to think about climate change before they go into the voting booths.
We will focus on the toll to life Climate Change has already had on our ecosystems: to plants, animals, and humans alike. Halloween is scary, our future should not be.
Climate Change has put fear into all of our lives and it's time for our leaders to act!
There will be a bus picking people up from Milwaukee School of Languages. Get on the list, suggest an additional location.

We Energies Rate Case Public Hearing (In-Person)
|
|
We Energies has proposed a large rate increase to fund their coal plants and new gas infrastructures.
As the Public Service Commission has allowed utilities to significantly increase fixed charges that go beyond basic customer costs, this promotes energy waste and perpetuates social injustice.
The Energy Burden for people on fixed incomes is disproportionately affected, as lower-use customers are saddled the higher cost!
Along with this, We Energies is actively working to block customers from installing solar panels, which reduces the pressure on the energy system and reduces carbon pollution.
Read More at WisPolitics
Join the public hearing on November 3 at 2 pm or 6 pm to share your testimony to demand a stop to this rate increase.
Tell We Energies they cannot unduly burden customers for their poor decisions to continue operations of these fossil fuels plants.
