Halloween is meant to be scary. Elections are not. But this year I am truly frightened by the possibility of a very scary outcome — Republicans taking control of Congress.
The effect of more climate deniers, fossil fuel shills and corporate authoritarians elected into office will be chilling. We’ll see even more extremism, unchecked corporate power, and climate change growing more dangerous in the coming years. But we can stop this from happening. We can move forward with the significant progress our organizing efforts and a growing progressive contingent in Congress have made in the last two years.
With November 8th just eight days away, we need YOU to avoid the scary future Republican control of Congress would bring.
