In just a moment, I am going to ask you to make one of the most important donations to our campaign for president. Please give me a chance to explain why this request — especially today — is so critical to our success.

You see, today is one of the most significant days of our campaign. It is the last FEC fundraising deadline of the campaign before voting starts.

And what we raise before tonight’s midnight deadline is going to fund our campaign in Iowa, in New Hampshire, and in other states around the country.
