Hi everyone, it’s Michael’s daughter, Caroline. I want to tell you some stories about my dad, and at the end, I hope you’ll consider chipping in at michaelbennet.com/contribute to support him.
After he voted to pass the Inflation Reduction Act this summer, I was one of the very first people Dad called. He doesn’t like to use the word “proud” often, but I could tell, on that night, he was proud.
He told me all about what that bill would do to fight the climate crisis. He felt it was one of the most important things he could do for our future — not just for me and my sisters, but for every Coloradan growing up today.
That’s just how my dad has been as long as I can remember. He truly, deeply cares about every single kid he represents. He fights for ALL Colorado families the same way he fights for his own.
When I was little, we spent family weekends on long drives traversing the Rocky Mountains, meeting with constituents. My mom, my two younger sisters, and I viewed Coloradans as my dad’s bosses. It was our job to listen and to fight for them.
Then, one night when I was a little bit older, Dad sat us all down and asked how we’d feel if he ran for president. Anne, Halina, and I didn’t think twice; we were all in. Mom was a bit more cautious, but ultimately she turned to us and said “this feels like something good that we can do for you all and for your generation.”
My dad didn’t win that race, but he did what he felt was right. He built that campaign around the Child Tax Credit — traveling the country talking about how we could cut child poverty. Last year, he did just that and kept nearly 4 million kids nationwide out of poverty. And if he wins re-election, he’ll keep up his fight to make the Child Tax Credit permanent and end child poverty forever.
And that’s why I’m so grateful to have Michael Bennet as my father and Colorado’s senior Senator. He loves his family. He loves Colorado. And he will always do what’s right — no matter how hard.
So I am asking: Can you please chip in to re-elect my dad and keep him fighting for Colorado? Tomorrow night is his last monthly fundraising deadline of this race, and he needs all of us to hit his goal.

This race is a tough one, but my dad is not backing down. I’m so grateful to you for standing with him.
Thank you,
Caroline Bennet
