John, election season is in full swing, and our team is showing no signs of slowing down.
In fact, Congresswoman Shontel Brown has just joined DNC Chairman Jaime Harrison on the DNC’s GOTV bus tour. This election is going to come down to voter turnout, and this tour aims to boost our Democratic strength in these final days. With the majority running right through Ohio, we must turn out the vote in all the critical areas of the Buckeye State to keep pace.
Our team has been hard at work these past weeks. We’ve been knocking on doors, making calls, and doing everything in our power to turn out as many voters as possible. We can’t do it on our own, John. We need the help of our greatest grassroots supporters to keep our team on the ground through Election Day.
Since Democrats took control of Congress, we’ve been hard at work providing for the American people. The Infrastructure Bill has been a boon to Ohioans across the state. Shontel and the Democratic majority invested in our infrastructure in Ohio with:
–$71 Million to replace lead pipes –$100 Million to build bridges –$1.8 Billion to repair roads –$11 Million to update Cleveland Hopkins Airport –And so much more to come
If we’re going to continue delivering for the American people, we need to hold our Democratic majority. The only way we can do that is by turning out a huge amount of voters, John.
As a Cuyahoga County Council member and Chairwoman of the Cuyahoga County Democratic Party, Shontel Brown has spent the last decade serving the people of Ohio and building coalitions. Now, as the Congresswoman for Ohio’s 11th District, she will fight for affordable quality health care, jobs that pay fair wages, a strong public education system, and equity and justice for all. Will you join her and be the change we need?
