My campaign is about to close the books on October – and our final end-of-month fundraising deadline – with a $17,441 shortfall.

I need to explain to you why this cannot happen – and why I'm counting on your donation to get us back on track.

This operation is powered by people like you – people who believe in our shared Democratic values; who are committed to fighting back against Trump, McConnell, and GOP extremists everywhere; and who contribute their time and talent to protect every Democratic seat.

However, we are operating with the most tenuous possible control of the Senate, which means, with just nine short days left in this election, there's no room for error or falling short on resources to protect critical seats like this one. If we lose a single seat – as Mitch McConnell is hell-bent on making happen – control of the chamber will be gone.
