We’re leading a GOTV fair in Texas today as part of UWDA’s efforts to contact 2.5 million voters before the midterm elections — but we’re counting on grassroots donations to help fund even more civic advocacy efforts before November 8th!

We’re hosting a GOTV fair (Halloween themed, of course! 🎃👻) today in San Antonio, Texas, to make sure members of the community know what’s on their ballot and have a plan to vote.
Today, our goals are to:
- Recruit and train members on the importance of GOTV work and early voting
- Help hundreds of voters find their polling location, look up who’s on their ballots, and create voting plans as we expand our work across Texas
- Introduce new members of the general public to United We Dream Action and our civic engagement work, establishing our organization as a go-to voting resource beyond just 2022
- Reinforce the narrative that the Latinx voters ARE engaged and turning out for important elections
We’re already past the halfway mark toward reaching our goal of contacting 2.5 million voters this cycle. But the work’s not stopping yet.
