I don’t want to scare you, but I need to be transparent. A pro-Scott Jensen PAC just sent $750,000 to blanket Minnesota in attack ads against me.

Here’s the reality: Even though Jensen and Birk’s priorities are drastically out of step with our values as Minnesotans, it’s become increasingly clear that this is a very, very close race. And national Republicans think they can put him over the edge.

Election analysts downgraded my re-election chances three times in a row, and the most recent polling from the Trafalgar Group showed me trailing (and plenty of “undecided” voters to put Jensen over the top).

With Minnesotans already casting their ballots and time running out to hold the line, we need to give these next nine days everything we have.

John, I know this team is up to the task. But we can’t execute our Get Out The Vote plans unless we raise another $58,341 by tomorrow night – our last end-of-month deadline of the election.
