We've sent a few emails about this FEC fundraising deadline, so we thought it important to explain what makes this deadline so important and then to ask you to chip in to help us hit our goals.

Here it goes:

Tomorrow at midnight, our FEC deadline comes to a close. Shortly after, how much money we've raised AND how many contributions we've received toward that total will be released to the public.

Susan Collins has to do the same.

And while her report will show a lot of big contributions from the wealthy and well-connected, our report will show many more small contributions from regular people looking for a Senator who will represent ALL Mainers, not just the ones who can afford to write big checks.

So that's our job. We have to catch up to Susan Collins' fundraising AND show that we are unquestionably THE grassroots campaign in this race. And that means we have to ask:

Can Sara Gideon count on you to make a $3 contribution to our campaign before tomorrow's FEC fundraising deadline comes to a close?

As you know, Sara Gideon doesn't accept corporate PAC money in this race. It wasn't an easy decision to make, but it was the right decision. Thank you for stepping up and helping to fill the gap -- especially before this FEC fundraising deadline.
