Friend,
This year you witnessed some of the gravest attacks on human Life in our state and in our nation EVER.
2019 was much harder than we predicted - both spiritually and financially. And as I reflect on the coming year, I believe 2020 will be even more difficult.
That's why I'm asking you now for a year-end gift of anything you can give. Friend, I know you're probably overwhelmed by the amount of emails in your inbox as we approach 2020, but I want you to know what's at stake next year.

New York
In January, New York passed the most aggressive pro-abortion law in the entire country. New York state now allows abortionists to murder babies until the moment of birth. That’s right — their perfect, pudgy, pinchable legs can be dangling out in this cold, cold world, and the doctor can reach inside the birth canal and kill the baby before the rest of her body fully emerges.
You witnessed a real example of how zealously the anti-Life lobby pursues abortion and what their ultimate goal is: the right to a dead baby.
For us, New York’s horrific law was a wakeup call – a message that we must redouble our efforts to end abortion. But for corrupt politicians in our state Capitol, the abortion holocaust is not as important as their own re-election campaigns.

2019 legislative session
House leadership ignored the cries of 108,000 preborn children who will be aborted before the next legislative session. Although they thwarted the passage of every bill that would stop abortion and euthanasia, the establishment is egregiously trying to convince conservative voters that this was a “Super Bowl Session.”
Luckily, your voice in the Capitol secured two funding victories in what otherwise would have been a completely fruitless session. Your support empowered Texas to defund the abortion industry and provide funding for Pro-Life alternatives.
But because leaders in the Capitol were so maniacally focused on maintaining political power, preborn children and vulnerable patients will pay with their lives.

Euthanasia epidemic
A shocking number of families facing death panels and denial of treatment called our hotline this year. Your support helped 21 patients (and counting) THIS. YEAR. ALONE. You may have heard of the latest victims in the public eye: Carolyn Jones and Baby Tinslee Lewis.
Hospital committees planned to pull the plug on Carolyn, a 61-year-old stroke victim from Beaumont, and Tinslee, a 10-month-old baby with a congenital heart defect, against their families’ will (which is legal under the horrible 10-Day Rule).
Since those cases hit the news, more patients came forward with similar stories.
Friend, this is a euthanasia epidemic.
Death panels attack everyday Texans like you under the deadly 10-Day Rule. This epidemic is widespread, and anyone can be a victim.
Until the law changes, YOU are the last best hope for Texas patients.

But there is hope
Out of every dark period emerges the greatest heroes and defenders of the faith. Evil must be combated with spiritual strength and bold, aggressive human actions.
This year, Texas Right to Life became a formally and thoroughly Christian organization that seeks His guidance and follows His tenets. We will rely on the power and grace of Jesus Christ to guide us and triumph over the growing army of darkness.
The darkest hour in America and Texas will become our finest hour.
Friend, 2019 was much, much more vicious than any of us predicted, and as the pro-abortion mob invades in 2020 to turn Texas blue, next year will undoubtedly be even bloodier.
If you want your organization Texas Right to Life to sacrifice, grow, suffer, and fight like we never have, we ask you to partner with us and sacrificially give like you never have.
Will you rush an emergency contribution to your Pro-Life headquarters?
Failure to fight back will signal that Texas is an easy target for extreme abortion laws like New York.
Your action now is critical!
Friend, thank you for your commitment to defending Life. I pray the Lord bless you and your family now and in the new year.
