Friend: I'm about to ask you to pitch in a contribution to keep Georgia and the Senate blue – but first, I'm going to let you in on some insider information.

Experts at FiveThirtyEight are saying several things about Georgia, but it all boils down to us being one of the only true "toss-up" races this year. They also released a report affirming that our race – once again – is likely to determine whether Democrats hold onto Senate control.

The other thing you need to know: Because of the sheer competitiveness of this race, Republicans have funneled in more than $30 million to defeat me. In these final days, that number will grow exponentially – so we need to be prepared, with resources, to fight back.

I know this is a lot of inside baseball talk, but I need to give you the scoop so that you understand just how important grassroots folks like you are, friend, when it comes to winning this race.
