Friend, I know that this close to Election Day, you're probably getting bombarded by the latest polls and expert predictions. So today, I wanted to take a moment to share my story and tell you why I'm running for reelection in the first place.

I’m humbled to represent Georgia in the Senate as its first-ever Black senator. Growing up in public housing, my family was short on money but long on love and faith. Through hard work and the support of my community, I became the first in my family to graduate from college, then went on to become the senior pastor at Dr. Martin Luther King Jr.'s church. Now, thanks to this grassroots team, I'm fighting in the Senate to make sure every child can achieve their American dream.

But right now, we're up against our final end-of-month fundraising deadline before Election Day. And with polls showing me neck and neck with Herschel Walker, we can't afford to fall short of our $2 million goal if we're going to pull ahead in the next 10 days and win. So please, will you give $5 or more now to defend my seat in Georgia and keep the Senate blue?

Now that you know why I'm running, I need to share a bit more about what our people-powered movement is up against: NPR is calling me the most vulnerable Democratic senator on the ballot this November, and FiveThirtyEight says that Georgia is the key to Senate control.

That's why Donald Trump, Mitch McConnell, and the entire GOP establishment are pulling out all the stops to defeat me. Trump has personally held massive rallies here in Georgia to mobilize his base around Walker, and GOP donors have poured more than $30 million into Walker's campaign to buy this seat.

I don’t take a dime from corporate PACs, so the only way I can fight back and win this race is with YOUR support. I'm personally asking: Will you give $5 or more now so we can stay on track to hit our end-of-month goal, keep Georgia blue, and defend our Senate majority?
