After my opponent launched a hateful TV attack ad against me, we were left scrambling with what to do next.

So today I am making a big decision but it’s going to require me to ask for your support and if you can chip in here, I would be forever grateful.

Here’s the story: Yesterday my campaign manager Camille came to me and said we needed to immediately launch a new ad in response to the new attack ads. I could tell she was serious about this, and she’s right.

But then my finance director Kierra warned me we are running short on budget and wouldn’t be able to fund the new ads. If we decided to run the ads, we’d need our grassroots team (aka you reading this email) to fund them entirely.

It was a tough call… but I made the decision. We’re launching a new round of ads for my campaign right away, but we need your help to pay for it. The truth is we need to raise $50,000 by the end of the month or else we will be in the red.
