Hi John,

My name is Brad Pfaff and I’m running to represent Wisconsin’s Third District in Congress. I wanted to personally reach out to let you know how important this race is for the future of climate action.

Throughout my time in public service, I’ve always been committed to tackling climate change. It is our duty to preserve our planet in good health for future generations, so if elected to Congress, I will prioritize policies that strengthen environmental protections, invest in sustainable energy production, and pursue long-term sustainability solutions to ensure access to clean air, land, and water for all.

My Republican opponent Derrick Van Orden, on the other hand, is a pro-oil ideologue who participated in the January 6th insurrection. He has publicly expressed his support for “unleashing American energy production.” In other words, drill baby drill! He would undoubtedly work to undo environmental protections and efforts to reduce emissions in order to appease Big Oil.

John, this race could determine the fate of the House. We can’t afford to let an anti-climate insurrectionist flip this district and give Republicans a majority. Can you split a donation between SEEC PAC and my campaign to help me defeat Derrick Van Orden and ensure Democrats can continue taking action against climate change in Congress? [[link removed]]

I believe Wisconsin has an opportunity to become a leader in conservation efforts and reducing carbon emissions, but my opponent wants to take us full speed in the opposite direction. His stance on fossil fuels is bad enough, but the fact that he participated in the January 6th Capitol riots shows that he’s willing to go to the extremes for his false beliefs.

Someone with no regard for our Democracy CERTAINLY can’t be trusted to safeguard our environment. We need to do everything we can to ensure his pro-oil, anti-democracy agenda fails on November 8th. Will you split a donation between SEEC PAC and myself to help me defeat Derrick Van Orden? [[link removed]]

Thanks to your help in 2020, SEEC PAC was able to re-elect over 95% of our pro-environment members to the U.S. House of Representatives — defying the odds on a night where Democrats lost seats. Now we are counting on you to help our SEEC members pass climate, clean energy and environmental justice policies in the 117th Congress while we undo the damage of the Trump Administration.
