Hey,
Everywhere you turn, it can feel like there’s a conflict happening somewhere in the world. Yemen. Ukraine. Syria. Somalia. And it can feel overwhelming. But what can you do? What can you do, right now, for children caught in the crossfire of a war that started before they were even born? You can be there. With the ICRC, you can be there for children and families, wherever they are. You can be there to hold their hand, to lead them to safety, to feed them, and to give them shelter. Just like you have done before.
Sammy & his grandmother, Democratic Republic of Congo
When you give a gift, you can provide food for families facing starvation. You can give doctors the life-saving medical supplies they need. You can be there to help children recover from severe injuries.
You can be there for children like Sammy. Sammy was shot while walking home from school in the Democratic Republic of the Congo. Stuck in the middle of a lengthy conflict, he might have thought no one would be there for him. But we were. We flew Sammy to a specialist hospital in Goma, where surgeons were able to save his arm.
Thanks to people like you, we can reach families and children in war zone no one else can get to. Please be there with us, for as long as it takes, and help us save lives. Your donation can help deliver life-saving medicine and vital supplies to children and families caught in the crossfire. Will you be there for another child, like Sammy, when no one else is?
Here is a list
to show you
an example of
what YOU can
do for the victims
of conflict:
△ CHF 10 could pay for a pair of crutches for a child with a serious leg injury.
△ CHF 30 could pay for a first aid kit to help our medics treat 16 wounded children.
△ CHF 75 could pay for walking frames to help three children recover from serious injuries.
△ CHF 130 could pay for life-saving antibiotics to stop 59 children getting a deadly infection.
BE THERE
