FiveThirtyEight recently projected Republicans’ chances of controlling the Senate if they flip Colorado: Over 80%.

Senate Republicans have raised over $331 million to flip the Senate, and I just learned they are pouring another $1.25 million into Colorado to defeat me. We’re also facing an ultra-wealthy opponent who writes himself six-figure checks when grassroots enthusiasm runs low.

If we lose this seat, Mitch McConnell is all but guaranteed an anti-choice majority and a chance at a nationwide abortion ban, and Rick Scott could push forward his plans to raise taxes and cut Medicare and Social Security. Simply put, we cannot afford to let Republicans turn Colorado red.
