Hi there John, it's Trudy. There are a lot of things about running for Senate that I love – meeting voters, visiting every corner of Missouri, welcoming people like you to our grassroots team, and so much more.

But if I'm being honest, I really, really do not like having to ask for money. Unfortunately, that's a big part of how campaigns work in America.

You see, the funds that supporters like you generously contribute to our campaign empower us to pay our incredible staff, reach key swing voters, run ads on the air, and make sure our message is heard loud and clear across this state.

But it's not just about what our team is doing. It's about what Eric Schmitt is doing – namely, calling up his far-right megadonors to have them launch even more attacks against our campaign. We have to be ready to compete with him on the airwaves and on the ground in these final days. That means hitting our FINAL end-of-month goal on Monday – and we cannot do that without you.

I know how much you've already done to support this campaign (thank you so, so much), and I wish I didn't have to ask you again.
