Team, I want to share with you a bit about Dr. Kermit Jones, the Democrat who is poised to flip CA-03 blue.
Dr. Kermit has always run towards where he was needed most.
Kermit was in medical school when the Twin Towers were hit on September 11. Upon graduating, he enlisted and was deployed to Iraq as a Navy flight surgeon — his team’s job was to race towards the sound of bombs and gunfire to pull out survivors.
When Kermit came home from Iraq, he could have gone anywhere and made six figures. Instead, he took a fellowship in the Obama White House working to get veterans better health care access.
And when COVID-19 hit, Kermit was on the frontlines of the pandemic in our California hospitals. While some “leaders” literally ran away during the pandemic, Kermit continued to show up.
