From the very beginning, Sarah Huckabee Sanders’ focus has been everywhere except Arkansas, and that’s completely unacceptable. She chooses to spend her time at high-dollar GOP fundraisers out of state instead of meeting with hardworking Arkansans who desperately need their voices heard. It’s clear this governor’s race is nothing more than a stepping stone for her national ambitions, and not the massive opportunity to make a difference in the lives of so many who need it.

The fact is we haven’t seen or heard much from Sarah Huckabee Sanders up until last week’s debate (the only debate that she showed up for). Then she skipped the post-debate press conference, claimed that she “won” the debate, and jetted off to headline yet another out-of-state GOP fundraiser — this time in Iowa.

Sarah thinks she has this election in the bag, but we’re here to set the record straight: She’s up against a strong coalition of everyday Arkansans, from all walks of life, who want to see real change in our great state by sending Chris Jones to the governor’s office. We need a people’s governor who will make sure everyone has a seat at the table — not an absentee governor whose only concern is forcing the GOP’s dangerous national agenda on our state.
