Nonresidents are able to apply for moose, sheep, elk, deer and antelope preference points.
Nonresidents unsuccessful with their 2022 elk, deer or antelope applications still need to apply for preference points. Points are NOT automatically awarded.
Nonresidents unsuccessful with their 2022 moose or sheep applications may still need to apply for a point. Preference points were only awarded if applicants elected to receive one if unsuccessful when applying.

Keep in mind:
The deadline for all preference points applications is Monday, Oct. 31 by 12 midnight MST. All applications must be submitted online.
Your preference points balances will not immediately update online upon applying. Check your?dashboard at the end of November to verify your preference point balances after they have been updated to reflect any points awarded.
Accumulated preference points for resident/nonresident moose or bighorn sheep as well as nonresident elk, deer or antelope will be deleted if an applicant fails to purchase a preference point for that species for two consecutive years.
