As I reflect on my first year of Congress, I am filled with hope. Despite what you read in the headlines, this year I worked with my colleagues in the House to make life better for New Jerseyans.

One of the highlights of my year was presiding over the House when we passed the repeal of the SALT deduction cap and a new trade agreement that protects American workers. I also led bipartisan initiatives to protect our democracy with election security measures and to provide service dogs to veterans suffering from PTSD.

We are sending a message to Washington loud and clear -- when we work together, we can make progress on the issues that matter most.

Change does not come easy. I will keep working to cut through partisan politicking but I need your support. Will you contribute to keep NJ-11 blue and the Democratic majority in the House? With your help, we can change how things are done in Washington.
