John — Keith Ellison here. I’m running for re-election in the race of my life. It’s neck and neck, and I need your help to pull ahead before November 8.

As Attorney General, I’ve been fighting to help people afford their lives and live with dignity, safety, and respect, especially when they have nowhere else to turn for help.

You may remember that when Derek Chauvin murdered George Floyd in broad daylight, we got him convicted. He is now serving 22 years. We've taken on some of the biggest cases, from Derek Chauvin, to suing Exxon Mobil and the opiods companies

My Republican opponent is a hedge fund lawyer with zero courtroom experience who vowed to “go on offense” attacking reproductive freedom and said he would "take a sledgehammer" to our work protecting consumers from predatory opioid, tobacco, and drug companies.

But even though Schultz is out of touch and unqualified for the job, here’s what we’re up against:

  • A recent poll from The Trafalgar Group shows me trailing my anti-choice hedge fund lawyer Republican opponent by FOUR POINTS.
  • POLITICO is calling me "Minnesota’s Most Vulnerable Progressive."
  • Fundraising numbers show we were outraised by Schultz during the last public reporting period.

John, I won with the smallest margin of any Minnesota statewide candidate in 2018, and every indication is this race will be even closer.

Here’s the bottom line: If we don’t dig deep and turn this around, an anti-choice hedge fund lawyer will become Minnesota’s next Attorney General.

The stakes in this race couldn’t be higher, and we’ve never needed your support more. If you’re able, please pitch in $10, $25, $50, or whatever works for you, so we can finish strong and win on November 8.
