When I decided to run for Congress, it was clear that the needs of our community were not being advocated for.

To make sure that I’m addressing the issues that matter most to coastal Virginians, I’ve held more than 45 town halls, round tables, and open houses. And I’ve fought day and night to pass bills that give our veterans the benefits they’ve earned, protect our coasts, and make our communities safer.

The issues we’re working on may not be the ones covered incessantly by network commentators -- but we’re making a difference in the lives of families in our community.
