Dear John,
December the 15th is an unmissable date for your diary, the date when we try to identify alternatives to trophy hunting that deliver for people, wildlife and nature. That is why I am inviting you personally to join me and take part in an important public discussion, to be held at the iconic Royal Geographical Society, in central London.

Our Beyond Trophy Hunting event seeks to explore what a post trophy hunting world could look like, what practical steps are needed to get there, and what challenges we need to overcome. To help us, we are assembling a world-class group of speakers and I am proud to announce our first two expert panellists:
|
Dr Ralph Chami One of the world's most innovative and sought-after economic thinkers, Dr Chami is Assistant Director at the International Monetary Fund and Co-Founder of Blue Green World and Rebalance Earth. Currently on sabbatical, he is tackling climate change and biodiversity loss by developing a model to value ‘natural capital’, including the economic value of forest elephants. His work has been featured at TED2022, and in National Geographic and the Financial Times, amongst others. |
