As Bernie writes in his article, it’s easy to understand why many folks are angry at both parties. However, we couldn’t agree with him more regarding how dangerous a MAGA takeover of Congress would be for working people.
Donald Trump and the Republican Party have become very good at misdirecting anger toward the establishment, and if we don’t stop them from taking Congress, we will see more massive tax breaks for the elite and fascist policies that threaten Medicare, Social Security, and all of the fundamental freedoms we take for granted.
Our only chance to build an economy that works for normal people, not just the 1%, is to defeat the far right and elect more allies.
