John,

Did you get Jonathan’s email this morning? As ADL’s CEO, he’s leading our response to the most recent acts of violent anti-Semitism in New York and New Jersey. But now is also a vital time for him to share a recap of what you and I achieved together in 2019 because it’s important to all of us that you know the value of

your support of ADL.

If you haven’t read his email yet, please take a moment to scroll down and do so now. He cuts right to the heart of how individuals like you and me are standing together on the front lines against hate every day.

Especially if you felt overwhelmed by the anti-Semitism and hate we saw this year, and even just in the last week, by the increase in violence – in synagogues, a kosher supermarket and even a Hanukkah celebration at a Rabbi’s home – we want you to know YOUR SUPPORT MATTERS!

And if you can, please

rush a gift to ADL right now and double your impact thanks to a $100,000 matching grant from a generous family foundation!

You’ll help ADL be prepared for anything 2020 throws at us and you’ll get to take one last stand against anti-Semitism and hate this year!

On the front lines against hate with you,

Doron Ezickson

Regional Director, ADL Washington, D.C.

FWD: YOU STOOD WITH ADL ON THE FRONT LINES AGAINST HATE IN 2019

[link removed]
Your help is urgently needed to keep up the fight in 2020!

Dear John,
We need you with us on the front lines against anti-Semitic violence, right now!

ADL has been on the ground in response to 10 attacks in the New York metropolitan area in recent days, including an attack by a knife-wielding assailant who invaded a rabbi’s home in Monsey, NY.

And, sadly, we are seeing anti-Semitic incidents occurring across the country and across the globe.

And each time, because of your support, ADL has been there to help

ADL has been working with local law enforcement and besieged communities to address this latest wave of violence, wherever it is occurring.

As the year comes to a close, I know there’s a lot of darkness to remember, but when I look forward to 2020, I’m hopeful:

inspired by the resilience of communities impacted by hate, by the dedication of our team at ADL, and by the commitment of ADL supporters like you. Supporters like a generous family foundation that is so committed to our cause they will match every dollar, up to $100,000, that you give today.

Will you continue to stand on the front lines against hate and double your impact in 2020?

Here are just a few of the ways you helped Fight Hate For Good in 2019:

- Through ADL’s Center on Extremism and law enforcement partnerships, you stopped violence before it took lives, foiling at least 12 plots against the Jewish community and leading to multiple arrests.
- You stopped hate before it took hold of our youth, through community and school trainings, activism and education — including doubling the number of Brooklyn schools who will use ADL’s No Place For Hate(R) curriculum to help stem a rise in violence against New York’s Orthodox community.
- And you innovated and advocated against hate by developing new tools to curb the spread of hate online, by raising your voice through ADL in our capital and around the world and by helping victims of hate seek justice and healing.

On behalf of every mind, and life, saved from anti-Semitism and hate ... every person spared from discrimination and violence ... every community that embraced diversity during these turbulent times ... Thank You, Lacy!

And please,

Hoping for a brighter 2020, thanks to your support!

Sincerely,

CEO and National Director

ADL

P.S. You are powerful. And when you and ADL stand shoulder to shoulder on the front lines against hate, there is nothing we cannot accomplish. Please, join me in making 2020 a year with more hope than hate when
