Accountability for Air Force Leak of Personal Information

The United States Air Force took responsibility for leaking the confidential personnel records of Jennifer-Ruth Green, a Veteran and candidate running in Indiana’s 1st Congressional District.

The timing of the leak indicates that this illegal act was politically motivated with the intention of interfering in the upcoming November election.

This cannot go unpunished. I led the MACH 1 Caucus, a group of former military fighter pilots and current lawmakers, in sending a letter to the Inspector General of the Air Force demanding answers and accountability for the leak.

As former military pilots, leaking a veteran’s personal information for political purposes is especially egregious and should not be tolerated. This gross and illegal violation of Lt. Col. Green’s privacy must be dealt with immediately, and the individual(s) involved must be held accountable.

The letter also includes a series of questions as to who the leaker was, what steps are being taken to refer this individual for prosecution, and how the Air Force plans to prevent future leaks from occurring.

Americans deserve answers for this gross mishandling of information and politically-motivated attack.

An Economy That is Strong

The Democrat party has held complete control of the federal government for nearly two years. During this time, they have spent over $9 Trillion in taxpayer money. This exorbitant spending is causing inflation to skyrocket and sending prices through the roof. Year-over-year food prices are up 13.5%—the largest increase ever. Americans will be paying the highest prices in 25 years to heat their homes this winter. In fact, gas utility prices have shot up more than 60% since President Biden took office.

My fellow Republicans and I have consistently sounded the alarm bells about the consequences of reckless tax-and-spend policies. Unfortunately, Democrats ignored our warnings and moved forward with their big-government social programs and harmful tax policies.

My Republican colleagues and I have a plan to fix the Biden Administration's economic crisis—starting with making America energy-dominant and lowering costs for families. Our Commitment to America will maximize the production of reliable, American-made energy to reduce reliance on foreign countries, prevent rolling blackouts, and lower the cost of gas and utilities.

We are ready to get our country back on track. As always, I will continue standing up for our oil and gas industry and working to make American energy dominant again. Read more about my work here
An Alarming Administration for Border Security

In Fiscal Year 2022, U.S. Customs and Border Protection recorded 2,378,944 illegal migrant encounters at the southern border—the worst year in history. We have never had more than 2 million illegal migrants cross the southern border, and these numbers don't even include the number of known "gotaways" who evaded U.S. Border Patrol this year, which DHS sources say total more than 600,000.

President Biden has abandoned his responsibility to protect our sovereign borders. Republicans have a plan to secure our southern border and keep our country safe. We will finish the wall, end catch-and-release, support our border patrol agents, fully fund effective border enforcement strategies, and promote advanced technology to prevent illegal crossings and trafficking by cartels. Learn more about our plan to secure our southern border here.
