Working Families Party

John,

When WFP champion Summer Lee won her primary to replace retiring Rep. Mike Doyle (Democrat, 14-term Congressman), Republicans decided it was time for some dirty tricks.

So, Republicans found a different Mike Doyle (Republican, extremist) to run against Summer in the general election. And people are understandably confused.

The only way Republicans think they can win this race is by intentionally convincing voters that their candidate is someone else.

So with just 11 days left until Election Day and early voting underway, we’re airing a new ad in Pennsylvania to try to clear it up — and let people know why Summer is the leader that PA-12 deserves. Click here to watch the ad, then pitch in to make sure it gets in front of as many Pennsylvania voters as possible.

The Mike Doyle/Mike Doyle strategy is ridiculous and unethical, and we can’t let Pennsylvania Republicans get away with it. But this race is about more than that.

Summer Lee isn’t just Not Mike Doyle, she’s a history-making community organizer and public servant who has fought to raise the minimum wage, create sustainable jobs, strengthen abortion rights, and win racial and gender equity.

This race is set to be close, and the results will impact how much of our progressive agenda we’re able to achieve in the next two years. We can’t let it come down to confusion.

Pitch in now to make sure Pennsylvania voters see our newest ad for Summer Lee, and keep Republicans from winning this race with dirty tricks.
