Hi y’all!

With only one week left in this election, thousands of Texans have voted.

My incumbent opponent Wayne Christian has repeatedly proven that he’s completely out of touch. He’s spent this race talking about issues that have nothing to do with the job of the Railroad Commission -- all to hide his failures during Winter Storm Uri.

And then yesterday, he highlighted that he’s the “only Christian” up for the position -- a statement so wild it was covered by MSNBC: [link removed]

Wayne Christian receives 99% of his campaign contributions from the oil and gas executives he’s supposed to be regulating. He’s refused my challenges for a debate for over 100 days. He’s a coward who’s unfit for the job of Railroad Commissioner.

But Friend, I’m serious about this race. And I want to do the job. Will you split a $22 donation between my campaign and the Texas Democratic Party to power our campaign over the finish line? [link removed]

Texas is the largest emitter of greenhouse gasses in the country, and our oil and gas industry is the largest contributor to those emissions. That makes this race for Railroad Commissioner -- which, again, has nothing to do with trains -- the most important climate race in the country.

The stakes in this election couldn’t be higher. We have it in our power to expand Texas’ energy leadership, weatherize our grid, and, most importantly, reduce our carbon emissions, protecting our climate for future generations.

And we’re within striking distance of winning. Wayne Christian’s Republican primary challenger, Sarah Stogner, publicly endorsed my race. We’ve received endorsements from all of the biggest newspapers in Texas.

The wind is at our back, Friend, and we need your help to take this over the finish line. So will you split $7 between my campaign and the Texas Democratic Party to help elect me to the Texas Railroad Commission?

Chip in now: [link removed]

We’re on the brink of changing the face of leadership here in Texas, and I’m confident that we can make it happen -- together.

Thanks for your support!
