We’ve said time and again that choice is on the ballot. Here’s more proof of that: The National Right to Life Committee, an extremely anti-choice organization with some appalling stances, is now dropping independent expenditure money into our district in support of Colin Schmitt.

This organization knows they have an anti-choice ally in Colin. He’s supported throwing doctors who help women receive abortions into jail, and he’ll most definitely work with House Republicans to pass a nationwide abortion ban.

Colin Schmitt supports a national abortion ban without exceptions for rape, incest, or maternal life. That’s not freedom. It’s authoritarianism.

Now, with outside anti-abortion groups spending money on his race, he’ll be even more beholden to these right-wing extremist organizations’ wishes.

Pat knows that health care decisions should be made in private between the patient and the doctor — not with the involvement of politicians.
